Testing the waters

I usually write my articles on offprint, but ever since notes were added to pckt, I wondered, perhaps I should give pckt another look!

Currently, I am missing footnotes in offprint, and I wondered if there were other apps in the same space that actually had footnotes. This is because sometimes I like to cite the sources I used for my articles— to give proper credit and allow the reader to go deeper into the topics that I cover.

However, I exactly can't do that correctly without a footnotes. I mean, I could do it by adding a parenthesis next to the thing I'm citing but that doesn't look very nice to me.

The only editor I know of that has footnotes built-in is Leaflet, which I have tried before and quite enjoyed it.

It seems that pckt also suffers from this issue, however. Which is sad, because I really, really like pckt's design! It's so playful and adorable all around! It also has a word counter, which is quite handy because when I am writing, I like giving myself arbitrary word-count goals, even when it isn't necessary, or when a topic that could be a paragraph or two would look good as an article rather than a entry on my "journal".

Shameless plug, the thing I am referring to as a "journal", is my bunny log, of course!

It's available on https://log.bunniesin.space if you want to take a look, but in summary, it's just a place where I dump my notes and thoughts throughout the day, nothing fancy.

Anyway, I think that's about it for now.

I might pester aka.dad and brookie.blog to add footnotes into their apps because I am pretty sure that other people will also find it very useful for their blogs :)
